25 August 2025 — Letter to Myself 1: You are that B*tch

Hi Self,

It's been a while since I last wrote in a journal. But we are not going to make this as one. Instead, this is my letter to you, for whenever in the future you'll get to read this. First off, congratulations on overcoming the novel reading slump. For almost three years, all you read is fanfiction, good job this year that you managed to get back to your usual reading habit. But most of all, I'm glad that you are enjoying reading books and not on how many books you finish. Always remember the advice you received.

"It's not about how many books you've, it's about how meaningful each read is."

And another congratulations for reaching 4th year in Architecture. Insecurity and imposter syndrome be damned. You are the Bitch, and you are that Bitch. I know it's hard to believe when you just failed one important subject that propelled you to extend a whole another year in college. But like how you always do, treat this as another opportunity to learn and enhance your skills. You've come so far to still say that you aren't cut out to be an architect. YOU are an architect in the making. And whatever career, profession and/or calling you ended up with, know that what happened now prepared you for the future you now have.

I hope you are still writing and continue posting your works. However, I challenged you that next time you read this letter, you are now a published author. Now Wattpad or AO3 only published author but a physical book with ISBN published author. I know, I know, it's hard to receive criticism for our written works. That's our brainchild, our baby, our soul. But know that the readers are waiting for you. Think of them. Don't let corporate publishers impede you from putting your work out there.

And lastly, please please please... take care of your health. Start that fucking exercise already. Stop being lazy, you piece of Shit. Be the shit! We are not aiming to live long, but we should be healthy while we are living. So you get to enjoy what you've worked hard on longer. 

I'm proud of you. I love you. And you have always been worth it.
